Pipinelli’s Pizza Parlor is something special to behold in Poughkeepsie. Most have heard of Di Fara, Scarr’s, Amore Pizza, the OG Patsy’s, Louie & Ernie’s, and John’s of Bleeker just to name a few. Pipinelli’s is a cut above, a destination to behold! Not only do they have a SUPERB slice, with absolutely ZERO flop and a crust with the PERFECT CRUNCH!! They also pay homage to the old school rich history of New York pizza institutions, while carving out their own niche that the Hudson Valley has been longing for. Pippinellis is an institution all their own! They offer several varieties of pies, from the Tie Dye, Potato Pie, Fig Jam and Bacon, to the Clam Pie, just to name a few. They also have a full delectable menu, with incredible sandwiches served on their own in house baked bread. Finish it off with their terrific gelato if you must. You are sorely missing out if you do not hit this gem!! You better get there Dave, tell them Big Joe sent ya!
