Piro's Pizza

I've seen this place advertised in many of the local Wildwood newspapers for my over 25 years here. I always thought of them as a "bargain" type place with really cheap prices. 1. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste and quality. When I first saw it with a lot of herbs/spices visible on the top, I didn't think it would be my style pizza. Turned out to be perfect in taste. 2. It was only 2 bucks for the slice, but it was smaller than a traditional slice. Cheese was nice and thick on it, which helps fill you up.

Solid. Gets the job done.

After years of eating boardwalk pizza, we decided to go with something different and try Piro’s. The pizza crust had just the right amount of crisp, the sauce had a sweet “tang” to it, and the cheese was nice and gooey. It was not too greasy, and held it’s form nicely when picked up (no flop!). It was not the best we have ever had, but a solid pie. We ordered a cheese, sausage, and pepperoni and finished all 3 between the 6 of us. If you don’t want to deal with the madness of the boardwalk, give this place a shot.

Excellent pizza. Made right in front of me. Perfect crust. Sweet sauce. Very good

Good slice but a ridiculous amount of cheese added a whole other layer of the slice, to thick for my liking crust was crunchy but not much in the way of taste, I've had much better in the area

One of Wildwood’s best pizza joints. Solid all around, great ingredients. Delicious.
