Best pizza in Houston. Had the NYC pizza (pictured) and a Neapolitan. Both were excellent and true to form. The NYC had some tang from the cheese.

A little bit of flop, good undercarriage and crust has solid crisp. A little greasy, but nothing we can’t handle. Sauce is a little sweet for my liking, but not a deal breaker by any means. Despite the grease, it’s still a light pie. Can certainly crush and go on with your day.

Kinda bland. Sauce was very sweet. Didn’t think the dough was very great.

I’ve had Pizaros Neapolitan and Detroit style before and I was a massive fan, so came in here with high expectations, which usually sets me up for disappointment. Not today! Sauce had some tang and meshed great with the cheese. Crust had an almost sourdough like quality to it. Too many “NY Style” places in Houston take that to mean oversized mass produced and bland crust, with cheese piled high to overcompensate. Breath of fresh air. Great pizza

I would definitely travel across town for their NY pie. Sauce is a slighter sweet sauce which I enjoy, reminds me of NYC. Crust is perfect. Has a crunch and is still a bit chewy at the same time. Ingredients were top notch. Best I’ve had in Houston.

Had to come back from a brief onebite hiatus to leave a review on this place. A discussion between my wife and I about building our own coal fire pizza oven and trying to imitate some of our favorite New York and new haven slices led her to finding out about this place since they use some of the same ingredients. This is the best pizza I’ve had in Houston. We tried their Neapolitan, Detroit, and New York pies...all were top notch. Friendly owner and great service also. Will definitely be back.

Detroit Style -Little to No grease -No flop and perfectly cooked -plenty of cheese and sauce but not too much of either -Fantastic Pizza

One bite, everybody knows the rules. A double review! I saw the Detroit style and had to give it a shot as well. This was much more enjoyable for me than the calabrese. With the sauce poured on top it almost feels like a cheesy bread that you’re dipping in sauce. It’s different, but I liked it. Good flavor and it looks like it’s overly cheesy but it’s really not.

This is a review specifically for the Detroit style pizza. These guys also make a solid NY pie, -and that actually made me want to see what else they offered. This pie was very good - nice crispy cheese crunch for the outer crust as you can see in the photo. The sauce does NOT come on the pizza, it’s on the side so you can dunk and/or spread as you see fit. The cheese quality was solid and the sauce is the winner here. It’s like cheesy breadsticks taken to the next level.
