Pizza Review
This place has not only huge slices to share but a great variety of slices to pick from. This one was definitely heavy but had great taste. Small Inside but worth the wait.

Pizza Review
Established in 1975, this joint has been a staple of the Yonkers pizza scene for nearly 50 years. However, they’ve been serving the “Super Slice” only since 2016, which is essentially a 2-foot gimmick pizza that’s cut into squares, giving off slice-shaped Sicilian vibes. Super thick & doughy, this is really one big novelty act, perfect for children’s birthday parties, with a look, style, texture & taste that equals quantity over quality. Super soft with minimal crisp, the dough is moderately thick & slightly undercooked, in need of some more time in the oven. Mostly bland, the dough has a dull flavor with a Sicilian style texture & Greek dough taste. Despite a fairly firm undercarriage, there’s virtually no crisp or crunch, barely even in the paltry perimeter of the buttery crust. The cheese appears to be a pretty basic shredded mozzarella blend with rather generic flavor & a consistency that lacks creaminess. Poorly melted in some spots, the flow of the cheese is also interrupted by several pizza bubbles creating a void of taste. The texture & flavor of the cheese is equally forgettable. Short on seasoning & lacking personality, the sauce is not as bland as the dough but lacks spice & kick, leaving the flavor flat. More acidic than sweet, the sauce is a disappointingly generic tomato blend that needs more pizzazz to avoid the oversized pizza gimmick label. This pie profiles as late-night drunk pizza, more filling than flavorful, not premier pizza whatsoever. Perfect party pizza, especially for a kid’s birthday, Instagramable social media ginormous gimmick pizza with more shock value style than delectable substance, this is clear quantity over quality hunger-curing pizza. Unless you just want to see this monster “slice” for yourself, this is not travel-worthy pizza; and at a price point of damn near $30, I’d much rather pay for a top-notch, fancy & delicious New York pie in the city of legendary pizza.
