Pizza Bono

Order right there on the spot took about 15 minutes. While this place is very well known for late night pizza with cold cheese. You should try it around 5pm. Is a pretty basic pie but great for the area in edge out New York pizza. No flop undercarriage was a little light I like a bit crispier. The pizza was light chesse was really good and sauce well price as well. If I’m downtown and I want pizza is either this place or New York pizza

I've eaten here dozens of times in my life, but this experience might have been my first one where I was completely sober. Was it as good as the drunk memories that I had of it over the years, absolutely not, but it was still better than what most people in the burgh give it credit for. If you come here you pretty much have to try a slice of cheese with cold cheese, as it is by far the best selling slice and is what they're known for. They have by far the best selection of slices in the burgh. Give their poutine pizza a try if you want something different then you're run of the Mill pizza place.

Pretty standard piece of pizza. It was an old pie that was reheated so that brought down the score but other than that it was pretty solid.

All around decent pizza. Good, but not great. Definitely something I’d get again, just doesn’t “wow” you, but gets the job done. Crust is fairly thin, could be a bit more crispy. Cheese is decent. Sauce is great.

Good football pizza. Even better with cold cheese. Even better with cold cheese when cocked after a night out. They say the upstate cold cheese started in Oneonta. False. Started at Bono’s. 8.3 minus cold cheese. But, technically, its not a topping so it doesn’t break the rules. #GoBonosGo
