First, I like the old school vibe of this place, it’s becoming harder to find in Phoenix. The two gentlemen working the counter and oven are awesome. This pizza had a lot of flop, mostly from the grease. I think next time I will just go straight cheese as the pepperoni were overly greasy and salty. Good crust flavor, good simple sauce, right amount of cheese. Just want it a little crispier. Overall a decent football slice and a good option if you’re in the area.
