I did not, let me repeat, did NOT expect to find pizza anywhere near this good in Manchester, or possibly anywhere in the state of New Hampshire (other than the Tilton House of Pizza obviously lol)
Pizza by Rocco has a high user score on the one bite app, but only had two reviews when I went there shortly before Christmas. So I checked out there Google and Yelp rating to see if it compared, and was surprised to see that they had a 5.0 rating on both, with over 100 Google reviews at the time. That was enough to get me in the door and give it a try.
Their Pizza is New York style, and is thin yet has a nice airy crust that is incredibly crispy as well! I talked with the owner for a while while my pizza was being made, and he told me that both the dough and sauce are made fresh daily.
The restaurant itself is extremely small and is take out only sadly, as I would love to sit down and have a couple of their pizzas in house if that was possible.
I have never been more impressed with a random spot that I had never heard about before, as I usually map out my pizza trips and know where I'm going far in advance.
This place ranks right up there with the best in New Haven, and you can see my reviews for all of them if you don't believe me.
