Pizza Review
Right off the bat, the name of this joint tells you you’re not gonna be eating pizza in the 8s or 9s. Despite the terrible name of this pizzeria, the pie is actually pretty good. Large, thick & filling, the dough is firm and very tasty. Solid crisp on the crust, it’s just a lot to chew. The cheese is fairly standard but not awful, just average in taste & texture. Very manageable grease, could definitely be a lot worse. The savior of the pie is the deliciously sweet & tangy sauce. Terrific flavor and consistency with chunks of crushed tomatoes, provides a nice boost to an otherwise average pie. Going into this review, I thought for sure the score would be somewhere in the 6s. But I was very pleasantly surprised at the overall quality of this pizza. I still think they need to come up with a better name to erase the stigma attached to generically named pizzerias and boost credibility.
