Pizza Jerk is a go-to slice option in the Cully neighborhood. Lunch special is 2 slices and soda for $9. Excellent undercarriage with char strikes throughout. Good distribution of hearty sauce and good cheese leaving moderate grease. They use the pep cups that I prefer for more manageable bite and bolder flavor. Pizza Jerk would usually be in mid 7’s or higher but todays slices didn’t get enough oven time and the lower third were not as crispy as past visits. Floppy bordering on soggy. Still above average, but not up to typical crispness but the char notes are to come back for if that’s your thing! Friendly staff, nice patio, even includes a small play structure for the kids. Too bad Cully is deteriorated as badly as other Eastside districts. Hope Pizza Jerk holds on!
