Pizza Lobo Logan Square

If I’m comparing it to my tried and true in Chicago, zazas. My girlfriend and I got the same kinda hot honey, ricotta based pie and it just didn’t keep the consistency throughout the flavor. As you work your way up you lose that beautiful sweet flavor of the honey as it just gets basic. The hold on this was also just rough, floppy on the pickup. Great crust though, but even when we had zazas cold it beat this when it was hot.

Throughly enjoyed this pie, and bottom line what I have to say is: Lobo’s. Crust. Satisfies the soul. Great flavor all around, fun big ricotta dollops that smear great, but the slices were pretty floppy; not a lot of under crust structure going on. But all I gotta say is I have leftovers and boy oh boy am I excited for those😋

While on my Chicago trip decided to get another slice at this place. Pizza lobo on Logan square. $6 for this slice. It was good solid NY slice. Little floppy but good chary crunch at the end. I could see myself stopping here once every few weeks. It’s a good solid slice.

Second time is even better. Unreal stuff from the borgata

Incredible crust, flavors that pop. Ratios of cheese/sauce/bread is well balanced. Easy fold, very little flop

Light undercarriage but good crunch on the outer crust. Good cheese & sauce, and crispy pepperoni.

Good pizza, but heavy on the garlic in the sauce for flavor. Like a thicker, crispier, but still ny style Stop Along, if that makes sense. Still enjoyed it but if I come back it'll be for the bar.

Solid. The sliced sausage was different style topping. Nothing spectacular but quick and hearty.

Eye test- real strange Ratio- a bit too cheesy Dough- crispy, just a tad overdone. Unremarkable taste. Cheese- it’s ok. Doesn’t do it for me. Sauce- can’t taste any, virtually none Overall- just underwhelming. It’s grilled cheese with barely average cheese and dough. Mayor Frank Rizzo said, “Crime can be eliminated by force.” Lousy pizza should be a crime punishable by life in prison. Overall- weak. Not one ingredient is exceptional.

Crispy crust, cupped pepperoni, strong sauce to cheese ratio, great atmosphere, nice staff. Oh and the Buffalo cauliflower bites are 🔥

Thin/crispy exterior, chewy interior, perfect sauce/cheese ratio, great New York flavor, beautiful leopard spotting on the undercarriage. I'd put Pizza Lobo right on par with Crushed Pizzeria and like half a hair below Zazas Pizzeria and Jimmy's Pizza Cafe. One of the best New York-style slices in Chicago!

Good ingredients but lots of flop

It was a great slice maybe a little more crisp in the under carriage.

good ingredients. pretty floppy, but that’s the style. specialty pizzas also very good. solid pie.

Pizza lobo, been in business about a year. New York style with a 72 hour aged dough. Honestly, fantastic pie. The cheese really set this pizza off. Super distinct. A little overpriced but everything is these days. Only complaint is too much flop on the under carriage. Side note: the wings here are the bomb. Even better than the pizza. I’ll definitely be back for both. 7.9: There’s your review.

Fantastic Crust! Crispy yet doughy with a little char cheese was super fresh. Go with the pink sauce red is a little bland.

Confit Garlic plus the Pepp makes for a great bite.
