Pittsburgh pizza scene moving on 🆙 Pretty good pizza here in Lawrenceville. This pizza is similar to Angelo’s in Philly. Pizza is over cooked, but basil in some parts of the pizza makes up for the dry parts. Couldn’t really get a good taste of the sauce because of the overcooked undercarriage. Cheese is really good and the texture in each bite is incredible. This is the first pizza I’ve reviewed in the 8s in a long time. If it wasn’t overcooked it could’ve been rated even higher.

This is one of the best pizzerias in Pittsburgh…it’s a shame they don’t have anywhere to sit but they have LEGIT NY pizza here in the Steel City. Anyone who doesn’t like their pizza doesn’t know good pizza.

Grandma pizza. The pizza was amazing. The undercarriage was perfect and crispy. No flop. Perfect bite. I didn’t care so much the ricotta cheese. The rest of the toppings were very tasteful. Overall, a solid pizza.

Hands down the best pizza we’ve had in Pittsburgh. The dough is substantial but not doughy with a great undercarriage. The crust is a beautiful blend of fluffy, charred, and crispy. Good ratio of sauce and cheese.

A MUST try if you consider yourself a Pittsburgh pizza connoisseur. The most Prez style pizza in Pittsburgh. Crunchy, char, and an undercarriage to die for. There is a reason this place is rated so high. Plus they even have a parking lot in Lawrenceville!

Got the Grandma pie (half sausage/half cheese). Both were molto bueno. The crispiness of the crust, and the fluffiness of the air pockets, with some great flavor to the cheese. Sausage was excellent too. One of my favorite Sicilian pies I’ve had in any city. My favorite pizza in Pittsburgh thus far

Half cheese and half bacon large Sicilian pizza from Lupo. The pizza was good as always here. Tried the Sicilian for the first time and something was missing. I don’t know if the sauce being on top threw me off, but I wasn’t necessarily in the mood for this kind of pizza I got today.

Sheeesh. Grandma style pie slaps. Sauce and cheese are top quality. Crust was so electric I think you could hear the crunch the whole way over in the north side. Doesn’t matter if it’s regular or grandma style pie… Pizza Lupo is the BEST pie in Pittsburgh.
