Pizza Lupo

Easily a Top 5 Pie in recent memory! Flavorful without being heavy. One of the best sauces I can recall. Great char! If this were the only pizzeria on the planet, the planet would be doing just fine but Pizza Lupo would really have to expand!

Wow this was elite. Great undercarriage. Crust is as light as a feather and 0 flop. Don’t walk here. Run to it.

Great crunch but still has the integrity of a good chew. Some people won’t love this pie because the crust is a bit on the doughy side, but it has fantastic crunch, so it’s not like a doughy football pie. Staff is also amazing. Just a gem of a pizza shop in every way possible.

The new king of Pittsburgh in my book. Loved the 2 cheeses, lots of sweet sauce which I love, airy crispy crust. If you put this pizza on the sourdough crust from Driftwood you’d have the perfect burgh wheel IMO. Tried a large plain well done, small pepperoni banana pepper regular doneness, and grandma Arthur spooner well done (sausage hot cherry pepper)… the grandma was also unreal. Only weird thing is the doneness between the well done and regular was the same. They all seemed well done which I was cool with. It was ready 20 mins late too but I think they are just slammed post Portnoy visit.

No, not a rookie score, this is just that good. Best I’ve had in the city, could be the best I’ve ever had period. Also easy to get, they weren’t very busy. Fresh, perfectly cooked, will be back to try more.

Solid 8.5. It a was fun watching how busy they were. 2 hour wait of calling in or online ordering. It was 20 minutes for walk up. Got it with sweet sausage. Well done, crispy. Solid pizza.

Gets too much hype though

very good pizza. had a great crunch and really good sauce. the flavor of the dough was incredible, and the chewy, crispy crust was what i think made the pizza. the cheese was just standard fresh mozzerella, and it had the biggest leaves of basil ive ever seen. overall a great pizza, earning a solid 8.1.

Didn’t have time to take a picture of the actual pizza but just fucking incredible, won’t find better west of New Haven

Ed - 8.6 El Pres - ? 💵 - Large 17” pie - $20 Absolutely perfect pizza. Not over cooked. Perfect char on the bottom. Nice crunch to the crust. Perfect balance between the cheese and the sauce. Only issue is that they are getting so popular that the wait time to pick up a pizza is over an hour. Definitely worth the wait.

Dough is carrying. Cheese and sauce are weak. Good pizza, but nothing I'd go out of my way for.

Lives up to the hype. The crust is super light.

This is one of the best pizzerias in Pittsburgh…it’s a shame they don’t have anywhere to sit but they have LEGIT NY pizza here in the Steel City. Anyone who doesn’t like their pizza doesn’t know good pizza.

Grandma pizza. The pizza was amazing. The undercarriage was perfect and crispy. No flop. Perfect bite. I didn’t care so much the ricotta cheese. The rest of the toppings were very tasteful. Overall, a solid pizza.

Was good but not great

Hands down the best pizza we’ve had in Pittsburgh. The dough is substantial but not doughy with a great undercarriage. The crust is a beautiful blend of fluffy, charred, and crispy. Good ratio of sauce and cheese.
