Road trip!!! Was it worth it to drive 5 hours for a pizza in Rhode Island? Absolutely, after walking into the buzzing corner spot I new I was in for one hell of a pizza. Crispy from first bite to last, the charred undercarriage is firm yet light and incredibly airy from the dough that I would say has been well fermented. The sauce was nice and tangy complimenting the other ingredients but rightfully not overpowering. The cheese had great flavor from different blends topped with the hard stuff that really set this pie off. The real take away tho is the crust for me, the initial bite, the char, the air pockets all make the pies at Pizza Marvin a real Maverick of the area plus the vibes and ambiance inside make this a total destination spot.

My husband said it was an 8 for the providence area now in my opinion it was a 6-7 mid pizza. I loved the fact that all the pizza is really beautiful crafted and handmade. But for me it was missing flavor. My husband said he liked it, also another thing, no soda? Only odd healthy drinks. Idk either way, probably the best pizza in Rhode Island. Still Not worthy of an 8 if you ask me.

Sauce and cheese was a highlight here, nice under carriage as well. Crust also had a very nice crisp bite to it. Very good.

Okay Frankie… it’s the people’s score. And we gotta give the people what they want. Pizza Marvin. Gasp. The one and only providence pizza with a Marvin stamped on every box. Right out the get go, it was an amazing looking pizza. A real beauty. If it was a car it would be like a solid vintage Ferrari or Aston Martin for you James Bond lovers. The cheese. To die for. Amazing pizza, one of the best I’ve ever had. Got a marg as my first pizza from here and it has zero flop, amazing flavor, and cooked perfectly. Also got a roni slice and that was just as good, but different type of pizza.

Worth the hour drive from CT all day long. Better than Grand Apizza in Clinton, CT but just under New Haven. Good stuff!!

We got the Roni Island Pie. Was pretty awesome. Has good crisp when you bite. Honey and peppers blended in was amazing. We added pepperoni. A couple local bartenders told us this was the best pizza in Providence. We checked it out. I think they’re right. If This place if not THE best, has to be ONE of the best. This was so good. Sweet. Spicy. Crisp. One of the best crusts I can remember. Easy to see why Dave gave this such a high score
