Hhhhmmmm. Torn on this one. First cool little pick up joint as others have mentioned and the people on the phone during ordering and checking out were friendly. But, we are here to discuss the pizza. I am not sure what to make of it. The sausage had some good flavor, and I like the crust. The cheese is OK, however I do not taste the sauce at all so it seems like something is really missing in its flavor profile. Sadly I wanted to give this pizza more but just can’t. Maybe when I’m back in the area I will try it again.

I actually ordered from the Frankfort one but that one isn’t on here. I thought the sauce was very tasty, a little too much though. I ordered it well done with pepperoni and the crust was crunchy perfection. Cheese was good, pepperoni was a little underwhelming but overall, pretty dang great pie.

I grew up in the 80s and remember eating Pizza Pete as a kid. Now I live an hour away and still make the trip to pick a few up several times a year. One of the most delicious pizzas I’ve ever had. It’s in my top 5 of all time. 2nd generation owners and the oldest restaurant in Orland Park. Just a small hole in the wall place with a pickup window inside a very small area. Dave probably wouldn’t go crazy about it not being his style, but he should definitely make the trip and try it.

Solid above average pie. Ultra thin crust. Well done is the right call. If you’re on the fence between sausage and pepperoni, go with the sausage.

Worked at the Cal City store 79-85. Still pretty close to the old pie. Til it back to Indiana so no cut. Heated up great and crispy. One of the best.

This is honestly one of the best pizzas I’ve ever have and when I go here it never disappoints
