Pizza Pete's Pizzeria

A straightforward, super solid pie. Although a bit skimpy on the toppings, the presentation is tight, with appetizingly greasy cupped pepperonis and nicely charred cheese. Crust is on the chewier side, but not too floppy, and sauce has a nice tang. Could’ve used more flavor and cheese-pull, but still a very satisfying no-nonsense pie.

This is an easy Erie 10, one of the best in town. The crispiest thing about this is the pepperoni and the crust (folks who have a stick up their ass about flop won’t be happy) but it’s a nice pillowy dough. I prefer to just do pepperoni with these reviews but the wife wanted sausage too so here we are. I’ve been reluctant to give anything an 8 because I feel like as much as I love this, there’s gotta be a world of better pizzas out there. But also…it’s my score and I’m going 8.1 on this. There is nothing else in town that tastes like this so it really stands out. Grease cup pepperoni, a little light on sauce but the sauce is really good and fresh with a hand tossed dough. It’s a dang winner.

Not a bad pie. Too much flop. Wish the bottom was as well done as the crust, and there was a little more sauce.

Got the Pete’s taste of NY 16” Half cheese, half pep. Thin style but Too floppy for me. Asked for it well done since I like a crispy bottom, but it wasn’t. One slice had no flop. Still a nice tasty slice. Good cheese amount and great crispy crust. A crispy bottom would make this an 8.

I loved the crust but the pepperoni is weird and thin. Not a fan of the dill pickle pizza though. The Pete’s pizza rolls were bonus points!!
