Was a good pie, a lot of local folks recommended them highly. It didn’t disappoint, but it didn’t impress me based on their recommendations. Decent football pie nothing out of ordinary in these parts. 7-2 that’s a review

There is no better pizza in Cos Cob, or the surrounding area. It’s outstanding every single time. Can’t go wrong with a plain cheese, but our go-to toppings are pepperoni, sausage, or eggplant. All fantastic.

Great cheese, sauce is okay, but the crust needs more flavor.

Great crunch. Zero flop. Sweet sauce. Tad bit of grease. But overall very good. Very lite and crunchy.

The crust is nearly perfect. Thin, crispy and beautiful undercarriage. The tomato flavor of the sauce is a little dull from too much oregano, and the cheese is a little light on flavor, but it’s still very good pizza. Added some freshly-grated pecorino, and it’s a lot better. With a cleaner-tasting sauce and maybe some parm or pecorino, this is well into the 8s.

Tough review…I thought the pizza had a really good crisp and the burrata anchovy pie was a unique flavor. Fresh tasting sauce but not much flavor there. Could have been a 7.6/7.7 easy but… I called and asked for the pizza to be ready at 1. TInstead I got a text 3 minutes late that the order was almost ready for pickup. I called them and asked that my pizza was not prepared 45 minutes early. They promised to remake it but they didn’t. When I came it was lukewarm at best. Too bad!

Good pizza and wings unfortunately today the well done was still raw.

Very good - crust needs more crunch

Southern Connecticut is caught in between 2 legendary pizza cities: New Haven & New York; but Fairfield county has a few gems among the rough. Pizza Post, or as the locals call it, “The Post” is one of those gems that is the model for perfectly cooked pizza. Not too hard, not to soft, yet manages to be both crispy and light. Pretty thin, solidly firm with a unique cracker-like undercarriage that is tremendously crunchy but still manages to taste like pizza dough. The cheese has a sharp taste and is very tight, doesn’t slide at all, almost lacking in ooziness. Really nice zip and bite on the sauce; I wouldn’t mind just a little bit more despite the very solid cheese to sauce ratio. I love the crust, perfect balance of doughy but crispy with terrific oven baked flavor. This is a really terrific pie; if the cheese was creamier and another ladle of sauce was spread on, we could easily be talking about a pizza in the 9s.

Jack ranked plain 8.8. Matt ranked plain 7.8. For a Murphy average of 8.3. In other news, the burrata margherita with anchovies was outstanding (!), but we are are ranking the plain only (in true form). The sauce was excellent on the margherita and the could have used more on the plain.

It doesn’t get much better then this place. One of the best I’ve ever tried . Cooked to perfectshin, mo flavor then 2 boxes of Captain Krunch and a bag a skittles G. You want pizza- this is yo place. I had Frank Pepe Saturday and it was bad(danbury). Shit at Frank Pepe tasted like Franks Pee Pee. Lemon WANG. But this place is a definite must. Y’all will thank me .

Floppy dough, droopy crust, no crisp, sauce no tang, no flavor, waitress service was poor. Average pizza at BEST, wouldn’t travel to get the pizza.

All jokes aside this pizza joint has been in business for over 30 years. Best family pizza joint in lower Fairfield County. 8.7 !!

This is chicken Parmesan because we killed the pizza instantly. Crispy bottom and piping hot out of the oven. Chewy cheese and a crispy-soft crust.

Bar pie, so thin. Sauce, cheese and crust are delicious. If in the area you have to come here.
