Pizza Rock

Alright so today we have pizza rocks Detroit style pizza. The edge was extremely crunchy and buttery. Sauce had nice tang to it. Cheese was awesome! If you haven’t had Detroit style pizza order it now.

Alright Frankie, we are at Pizza Rock, K St. Sacramento, California. Aye really good crisp on this slice. They must know how I like it. Just a smidge of flop on this slice. Shit, I just burned my face off!! This is really good pizza Frankie. Nice crunch to it. One bite, everybody knows the rules. A nice very shuttle tang to the sauce. Really good pizza Frankie. I’m gonna go 7.9, maybe a few tenths of a point high bc I really like the tunes they were playing in there while they made it. 7.9 write it down. Now I’ll go peel the skin that I burned off the roof of my mouth.

Love the crust

I really wanted to enjoy this pizza because we had such high expectations with the reviews. But when I was handed the pizza, the sauce was straight up water. It was so runny, we were literally letting the pizza drip dry before eating. Which led the dough to softening extremely fast. You can see in the picture how much of a soup is on top of this pie. It became mush in just a couple of minutes of getting. Honestly the worst margarita pizza we have ever had. Really wish we could have found something here in sac, but unfortunately pizza rock was a huge disappointment for us

Classic American

Way too much bread, almost zero sauce and little cheese.

Ordered the Margherita pizza. The crust was good at first. More about that in a second. Good amount of mozzarella and basil without being too much. Problem is the sauce. It’s too watery. It made the pizza soft pretty quick and the pizza was obviously soaked due to runny sauce. So it was annoying having soggy limp crust.

Gas fueled brick oven pizza with a quality perfectly cooked crust. Sauce is a little sweet and taste more like a spaghetti sauce.

Delicious topping. The sauce had just the right amount of sweetness. The cheese was fresh and not rubbery. It look like this would be dominated by the crust but it wasn’t. It was very light and fluffy. Will definitely come back!
