Some steps in the right direction here that could be cleaned up and nudge this pie skywards. Best element is the bright sauce, which could use a finer purée, though. Cheese blend is NY in flavor profile, NW in excessive quantity. Crust, while hand-tossed, is a dead ringer for Trader Joe’s dough, and is allowed to bubble far too much, resulting in major swaths of the pie being completely devoid of sauce or cheese.
