Really loved this slice. First time coming here and pass by it almost every day on the way to work. Such good tang to the sauce. No flop. Crunchatizing in every bite. Also owner of Pizza Sam is the man, very nice guy who you can tell genuinely cares about the quality. Dave’s review was very on point, and I could have easily given this an 8.4 like he did just because it was a great experience.

This is a decent slice of pie. We start with a well done undercarriage and no flop on the slice. Great balance of cheese and sauce, then the issue comes that the grease drip is a big more than usual. Good tasting sauce and also a solid crunch on the crust. If it was a little less greasy we will have a higher score. Overall a solid slice.

Hit this place on our way through Queens. Worth the stop. Pizza was doughy but I like it like that. That way I don’t need a whole pie to be full. Sauce was garlicky, but again that’s a like for me. For what it’s worth my ten year old called it, “phenomenal”, not an adjective he usually uses on pizza

Had such high hopes, recently started my pizza rating journey. This tasted like a $1 slice, not crispy, floppy, just not good. Was so disappointed.

A bit overrated. It’s good pizza but the sauce needs more flavor for it to be something you “travel for”. Overall, solid regular slices.

Really good classic pie. Great straight from the oven. Cheese fell off a little but the crispiness was nice.

Here’s the other review I had to fix because I posted without saying anything, and this is another Dave spot and a GREAT friggin slice here. Honestly, about as perfect a football slice as you’re gonna get right here. Great sauce, ratio great, cheese great, had crunch... looooved it. Cool old school italian inside talkin typical shit.. cool vibe inside, cool pics that showed history of the place.. just loved it.

Good classic ny slice. Very big slices but a little too thick and doughy. It didn’t have much flop and had decent crunch to it. Nothing overly special about this slice but it’s definitely solid. Just so many out there that are better

Can taste the garlic in that first bite, not my particular cup of tea but nice crisp, no flop, cheese and sauce was decent but would not throw this in the 8’s. That’s a review Franklyn!!!

By the slice, it’s not incredible. Definitely doesn’t rock my world. I think it’s the sauce. I don’t need to be back here again.

Even better after it cooled down but score already given. Good aftertaste also. As solid as football pizza gets.
