Pizza Shackamaxon

This is their upside down provolone with rosemary, very good. $5 a slice/$26 a pie, go with this one. Their regular pie is about 7.7 good but not great.

Originally left this pizza a 8.6 review but after more thought and craving for this pizza I felt I had to raise the score. Pizza is just the perfect amount of crispy, great cheese, overall very good pizza. Might be the best in philly.

Was in Philly visiting my son and decided to try Shackamaxon. At first sight the pizza looked heavy but it wasn't. Pretty good flavor and a good amount of cheese. The tip flopped a little but not to bad. I don't mind a well done crust but this one was a little to well done to the point the crust just crumbled apart. For this reason I have to drop the score a little. The pie was $25. but the pizza was good enough to overlook the price. A pepperoni pie by me in the Bronx from a pizzeria that is rated 8.6 by barstool pizza is only $16.

Amazing Pizza! The sauce and the shredded Parmesan have such a strong flavor. Thick crust with nice charred undercarriage. Crust is a bit burnt but that’s the style.

Crispy good structure cheese n sauce zesty definitely worth the trip

Big slices came fresh out of the oven. Crust was slightly a bit charred but absolutely worth it for the rest of the slice. The sauce/cheese combo was exceptional. I didn't need the third slice but I ate it anyway.

Rating based on a 2 hour old pizza on reheat. Crust amazing. Sauce / cheese ratio perfect!!

Solid pizza.. crust, cheese, sauce & spices all great flavor. Just be ready for a hefty dose of grease with pepperoni. But solid pizza.

practically inedible

This pizza is one of my favorite it’s thin, crispy and the flavor is so good. It’s a little bit of a drive for us but it’s worth it, it’s just has something different about it that I love. You can tell that they use fresh ingredients and that’s what makes it so good. I gave this pizza a 8.5 this place is definitely on my list of good pizza.

For my 50th review it had to be a good one, and this place did not disappoint. From the 1st bite to the last bite it was delicious. Perfect crisp, awesome flavored sauce and the crust one of the best ever had. Zero parking and no phone orders stinks but it’s worth the wait.

Excellent pie!!

Very rich. Lots of cheese, kinda heavy, but cooked very well. Definitely good drunk pizza/football pizza. Pretty stuffed at the time of consumption so score might have taken a knock because of that. Definitely solid tho. Square slice (not pictured): 7.9? Kinda forget because I was stuffed. Def need to go back here for a new review.

Cheese to sauce ratio was on point. Loved the crust!!!
