I’ve been to John of Bleeker, Sally’s apizza, Joes, many of the great east coast places. THIS is without a doubt the best representation of an east coast pie I have tasted in CA. It has a distinct California flair with a sour dough crust and a subtle funk to the cheese. The sauce is flavorful and bright. The price is a bit high, but it’s CA so it is what it is.
