Really, really solid pizza. Right out the gate though, lots of flop and therefore very little crisp which makes the pizza almost chewy. However the combo of flavors work really well despite the flop, which also works for the overall flavor profile of the pizza.
The sauce is maybe the best I’ve ever had in LA. Something about it just hits right in the sweet spot with the right balance of sweetness to tanginess, this sauce being more on the tangy side. The cheese tastes fresh and compliments the sauce which is of course the star of the show. It’s not too greasy, which made it pleasant to eat despite the flop.
The crust is nothing to write home about, and suffers from the same chewiness as the rest of the pie.
Overall, if you’re in the area stop by for sure. They even have free parking, which in LA is a plus!
