Pizzarium Gabriele Bonci

Light and crispy, average sauce for Rome on the Margherita pizza. Had a premium slice with cure beef, potatoes and ricotta. Good ingredients but way too heavy (and they didn’t take the stems off the arugula on top). Good, but not great by any means. Not many good options near the Vatican but this is better than most.

Spent 4 days searching for the best pizza in Rome and this blew them all out of the water!

Crispy! Tomato tang! Good cheese! Waiting ages but the atmosphere was pretty cool and like a party! Well worth it!

Wow. The hyped love to what you hoped it would be. The invented Suppi - deep fried spaghetti among other things, could be a 9.5 by itself. The pizza is unique with tons of choices. You are never guaranteed what pizza they have as it’s a crazy show of getting there, get your number, wait in line, pizza is by the pound. Phew. But. It is a good as you would hope for with all the hype. Second best pizza to date in Italy, 5th review so far.

So I was extremely excited to try Bonci’e pizza, the classic cheese wasn’t an option when I came and the score represents an average of three slices. Overall it was good but not great. The potatoe cheese was our favorite of the three slices. We lucked out and only waited about 5 minutes. Now the real gem was the carbonara suppli!! That was a 9.2. If you are by the Vatican give it a try but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

Extremely crispy with good flavor

Lives up to the hype. Very good pizza. Crust is outstanding. Light and airy yet crispy. Toppings are fresh and fantastic. Bucket list spot.

Light, crispy crust. Sauce is delightfully sweet. Not as good as anticipated but definitely worth trying.

Very good pie, lots of options. Must try the potato pizza with sausage and the mortadella

The sauce is amazing, excellent crust and zero flop. A 9,1 because of the crunchiness on the crust and the amazing savoury sauce. Frankie likes is cheese. But still a great rating of 8,4. 🍕🇮🇹

Best pizza I’ve ever eaten!!

I may have gotten a little carried away by my in-video score but I’ll stand by it. Absolutely phenomenal slice of pizza and one of the best I’ve ever had.

Best crust I’ve ever had. The simple red sauce was the best. Do not get the mortadella and hummus. Fermentation was perfect on the dough.

Depending on the slice your score will go up or down. The plain sauce pizza was a 9 but the rest were about a 8.4. No New York flop

It’s our first day in Italy/Rome...we had just gotten off of 12hr’s of travel with little food & sleep, so this is probably an inflated score. Solid crunch. Tray style za, similar to Old Forge, PA. Some of the toppings were a bit overwhelming. Would have tried straight cheese if it were an option.

Amazing! The porchetta pizza was unbelievable

Very crisp. Tell them what you want and don’t worry the portion. Just eat it.

Excellent pizza! Toppings were fresh and unique. The dough was killer, and made from a 200 year old starter! Was like a regular dough/ciabatta hybrid. Best pizza I’ve had to date!

No cheese slices that day but really good marinara. Get there early to avoid crowds!
