As somewhat of a pizza enthusiast/connoisseur raised on that good New York/New Haven stuff, Badiali is the best pizza I’ve had in Toronto. Their capicola and pineapple is just a damn good pie.
After frequenting this fine establishment a dozen or so times, this is definitely more of a slice joint than somewhere you’d order a whole pie. When the slice has a second go-around in the oven, the crust gets a little extra crunch and the cheese a little more char that makes a massive difference. The pepperoni and Margherita are quality and the vodka is among the best cheese pizzas I’ve ever had.
This isn’t just good for a Canadian or Toronto spot, Badiali is the real deal and would be a well-respected establishment in any major city in the Northeast, a.k.a. the true, undisputed Pizza Capital of the world.
