Pizzeria Badiali

As somewhat of a pizza enthusiast/connoisseur raised on that good New York/New Haven stuff, Badiali is the best pizza I’ve had in Toronto. Their capicola and pineapple is just a damn good pie. After frequenting this fine establishment a dozen or so times, this is definitely more of a slice joint than somewhere you’d order a whole pie. When the slice has a second go-around in the oven, the crust gets a little extra crunch and the cheese a little more char that makes a massive difference. The pepperoni and Margherita are quality and the vodka is among the best cheese pizzas I’ve ever had. This isn’t just good for a Canadian or Toronto spot, Badiali is the real deal and would be a well-respected establishment in any major city in the Northeast, a.k.a. the true, undisputed Pizza Capital of the world.

I know rookie score, but this slice wasn’t more than an 8 or lower. Having said that this slice would’ve been in the high 8’s if they hadn’t burnt it pretty badly. Also they cheaped out on some cheese 😡. Also they only give you one actual slice instead of 2. Kinda expensive for burnt pizza. Add more cheese, turn down the temperature. Shit was burnt

Delicious, crunchy, light crust. Perfect cheese, sauce ratio. The extra dollop of sauce on top makes it. Pepperoni is cooked so nicely with crispy edges and a good spice. Flavour king. My favourite slice.

Been waiting months to try this place and so glad I did. Granted the price is steep, the quality is far and beyond. I couldn’t stop talking about the base sauce alone last night it was so good. I reminded me a lot of the fresh pasta sauce we made with my mum’s family as a kid. We ordered the Pepperoni and Margherita last night and they were both amazing (especially with the pepperoncini dipping sauce 😉). The crust was near perfect crispness and taste with little to no flop to hold all the toppings. Gotta save up so I can visit again!😊

Wow , just outstanding, the crust was bubbling and light and crisp and flaky with some exquisite char on it . The cheese and sauce were hot and flowing like lava out of a volcano, just fantastic

Went a little late so no cheese slices available so I had to get pepperoni. Very fast and the pizza is good. I would recommend.

Without a doubt Best pizza in Toronto.. Tried Cheese, Marg & Pep slices and I would order them all again!

Best pizza in Toronto. Easily. This is the only pie that can truly compete with good Manhattan pizza. Light, fluffy and crunchy, bright sauce and salty cheese. If it was a little thinner on the base, it would be over 9.

By far one of the best pizzas I’ve had in Toronto! Worth a try!
