Pizzeria da Franco

I owe the country and fine citizens of Italy an apology based on my previous post. This country does indeed know how to make pizza (Rome, however, is not up to par). But I digress - this is the best pie I've ever had to date. Prior (outdated) ratings may say otherwise, but the flavor and freshness of this pizza is unmatched.

First Italian pie

Solid late night pizza. The sauce is a bit bland

Definitely not in the 8s. Good crisp but lacking a little flavour. Very good pizza

Great pie, amazing atmosphere. Thin crust with a medium undercarriage, ingredients were on point with quality and quantity. An old family run pizzeria in the heart of Sorrento with a modern twist. This may have also been the cheapest meal we’ve had out all week!

Great crust. Super light. Cheese was excellent, and toppings were really fresh.

Not a Margarita so take the score how ever you want. Order the Primavera 50cm (Parma Ham, Rocket, Parmesan Cheese) Placed was absolutely packed filled with great atmosphere, pizza came out after a short wait and well worth it, super nice flavours of the salty aged parma with the bread and cheese, undercarriage was great with an all round great crispness, absolutely no flop will be back for a margarita for sure

Margherita and Primavera.

Really light and flavorful with a good undercarriage. Classic Neapolitan which is what we wanted in Southern Italy

Pretty damn good pie. First in Sorrento and could be the best. Recommended by locals and the place was constantly packed.

Good pizza but left a little to be desired. Sauce didn’t have enough flavor. Cheese and crust very good.
