Second best pizza in downtown-ish San Diego. Consistent New York style and they deliver. Make sure to get it well done if you like the crisp.

What a great Pie! It came out of the oven with a nice crunch. The sauce was great with a nice tang!

Took the fam here while on vacation in SD! Loved this place. The pizza had a great crisp and was lite and thin! Good sauce and great on the toppings. We all loved it. The wings were great as well and the people that worked there were friendly and helpful. We will hit this whenever we come back!

This pizza really impressed me. The crunch was just about right. The sauce was good and had a hint of spicy. The sausage and pepperoni were good quality. Undercarriage had a nice oven fired look to it. I think the slice was a little bit big so it was just slightly floppy. I also could have used a little more cheese. Doesn’t factor into the pizza score, but the place had a cool vibe. Really enjoyed the wings as well as the spaghetti and meatballs.

Awesome pizza in a great part of town. The undercarriage had a fantastic level of crisp, I might go so far as even say a next level level of crisp. By far the best part of this pie. Sauce and cheese were very balanced with each other, but the sauce itself was a little lacking. It’s neither sweet, nor tangy so somewhere in the middle which ends up just being a middle of the road tomato sauce. Crust was as crispy as the undercarriage, with a good flavor as one might expect from a solid NY style slice. Worth stopping by and grabbing a slice if you’re close by, but no need to make an extra special trip. A sauce that picks a side would elevate this to the high 7s or 8s easily.

Very unique experience. Focaccia Bacon Ranch was their signature slice and had some “secret sauce” on top unlike anything else I’ve tasted on any other pie. Very thin and crispy crust, amazing customer service, and awesome location close to the bay.

Luigi’s never disappoints! Good pizza, good ambiance, good people. The prices are a little pricier than I remember, but everything is going up with inflation so I’m not too mad. Favorite is the pepperoni and pork sausage pie. Very good sausage used on their pizza, wanted the white girl slice but appears to be quite popular, sells out quick. Good spot if you enjoy a thinner & crispier NY style slice. 7.5/10, good pie.

Soy Mexicano. Nacido en San Diego y me vale madre que piensas. Este pinche pizza esta bien chingon. 8.5 porque esta doradito y la salsa dulcito 🤌🏽 no hay mucho aceite tampoco! Una rebanada bien buena! Pero ando bien pedo pues 🤣

It’s good pizza, but nothing really jumps out. Crust has a great texture and good undercarriage for sure. Lots of flop and lots of soup on top. The lady at the front was mad doggin me because I used 14 napkins to get all the grease sopped up. Not that big of a deal, it can be common, I just don’t wanna go swimming on my first bite. Cheese was average but not generic which is good. Sauce was very light and could use some more tang for sure but again, not generic. They do have a large variety of different types of slices as well as craft brews. Awesome location here in North Park too. Next door to Live Wire. I would like to finish with a recommendation to try their meatball sub though. It’s like a lap dance in your mouth. Couldn’t score that beast today, it was only the pizza but it’s solid.

Really good pizza available by the pie or by the slice. A slice of cheese will set you back $2.75. And other pizza slice will set you back $3.00. Significantly better than any other pizza in San Diego but often served with a bit of attitude. Stick with the basics and get the $7.00 combo deal for two slices and a soda.

Crispy thin crust, excellent variety of slices, killer deals, and punk rock baked into the dough. There are two locations and this one has been consistent 100%, the other location is great but they’ve definitely burnt the shit out of my slices before. With all that being said, the pizza is damn good. 🍕🍕🍕

This place is great. The pies have the near-perfect ratio of cheese to sauce to crust. Excellent crisp and minimal flop. The ricotta is delicious as well. It’s creamy and sweet.
