Pizzeria Vetri

For dinner we started with the meatballs and rotolo. The rotolo is pizza dough, mortadella, ricotta, and pistachios rolled into a sort of mini Stromboli. It was delicious. You can skip the meatballs. Next, we ordered a margherita and speck pizza. My older son is the pickiest eater I know. He said of the margherita “it’s better than I thought it would be” He gave it a 7.2. I gave it an 8.1. The speck is a pizza with pork speck, pistachio pesto, balsamic, mozzarella, roasted cippolini onions, and parmigiano. I really liked this one and gave it an 8.4. For dessert, we got the Nutella pizza with marshmallow. My younger son, who wouldn’t touch the pizza due to his distaste for basil, loved it and gave it a 10. It was pretty effing good. I had the affogato with home made soft serve vanilla ice cream with a shot of espresso. This was amazing. We also tried the cannoli, not a fan, and fried pizza dough, which was good but by this point I was about to explode.
