Pizza Review
This place offers the best pizza in the Tri-City… It's a real pizza joint owned by a real Italian family. They offer many different styles of pizza, which include the standard Chicago Tavern, New York style pizza, Gluten-free pizza, Cauliflower crust pizza, Sicilian deep dish, and Artisan-style pizza rosso. They have enough options to please any picky pizza consumer. Usually it is a red flag when there are so many options but this place is incredible. I have not yet tasted every pizza they offer but will give them all a try (besides cauliflower crust). The artisan style is my favorite here. I know artisan style is not for everybody but it's for me… Pictured above is the Quattro Gusti Pizza (without olives) and would recommend it. Even without getting the pizza well done, I am able to hold the pizza by the crust and get no flop. It was perfectly cooked and crisp from crust to tip. Another thing that sets this place apart is the quality of the toppings and how they are applied. The toppings actually seem fresh compared to every other small pizza spot, this came across especially in the artichoke hearts. One thing that surprised me with the toppings was the cut of the prosciutto. Usually for artisan style pizzas the prosciutto is super super thin and loose on top. This pizza having a slightly thicker cut of prosciutto and being under the cheese made a huge difference and was a pleasant surprise.
