Literally best pizza in Durham

Big fan of the garlic and lemon flavors, not my type of crust but still good pizza

undercooked and really greasy. Not bad by NC standards but not NYC neopolitan level

Delicious pizza alittle bit of a flop but deff tasty.

Good sauce and cheese. Parcooked though and that’s a deal breaker...

Phenomenal

Pompieri came very highly recommended. All I can say is, what a let down. Underdone crust, lots of grease, lack of tang, and absence of the flavor of quality ingredients. I had been looking forward to eating here all day and all I can say is that was met with a resounding thud.

it's right there with pizzeria toro for best in durham - they have some unique options in there (expected) - love the smaller sized option - appreciate what they're doing at this spot for sure

IT SLAPPED

Pretty standard Neapolitan fare. Fresh bright sauce, good cheese flavor. Dough is lacking though. Zero crunch.

NYC level Neopolitan style. Excellent. Best you’ll find in the Triangle.

Great cheese and sauce. Crust seemed pretty dry. Not a fan of it.

Drunk horse pizza is very good. Crust has good crunch to it but not burnt. Sauce has very good taste to it. Cheese is fresh and pizza has very good cheese to sauce ratio. Sausage was very good and the olive oil surprisingly complimented the pizza nicely.
