Crust: nice and crispy, thin at the middle and thick at the edges. Good char on the outer crust. A bit too much cornmeal. Sauce: Great flavor, needed more of it though! Cheese: Good amount and good blend, not just basic mozzarella. The cheese was even a little crispy which I like. Otherwise: Smelled and looked amazing out of the box. A bit too greasy and the cheese or crust would benefit from some seasoning. A very solid pizza overall!

The wife and I were out of town. I checked the one bite app and found the spot with a great review score. Turns out it’s a takeout only. But that didn’t stop us. Mostly because the parking was full and a line of people waiting for their pizza. That was when I knew! We’re eating in the truck to babe. We both loved it. Must stop spot!

The dough is thick but crisp as can be on the bottom and at the top of the pie. The sauce is well seasoned and flavorful, really stands out compared to their Bobby or Veggie pies. My favorite spot for lunch during high school (this location specifically)!

The best pie in Monroe county and it’s not debatable. Perfect amount of sauce to cheese ratio. The toppings are always fresh and plentiful. Only reason this pie didn’t get a 9 is it could have been left in the oven a minute or two longer. This specific pontillios is the best pizza in Monroe county, possibly WNY

You're not a pizza fan in Rochester if you haven't had Pontillo's in the Basin. Great takeout pie, lovely flavor and perfect amount of sauce. Little heavy on the cheese but cooked well so you won't find me complaining. Really solid and certainly one of the best spots in the area.

Just got a slice of pepperoni.. feel like it could’ve been higher but I went at 3 in the afternoon and this one might have been sitting around for a while. Probably a mid 8 if I got a whole pizza fresh.

This is a confusing pie. The very middle was delicious, a good mix of sauce, dough, and cheese. The closer to the crust the flavor disappeared. They use a little corn meal on the bottom which I like, and the sauce has a nice tang. If they used a little less dough this could be pushing an 8
