Pontillo's Pizzeria Cortland

Presentation: 3.9 Taste: 8.2 Value: 8.7 Pretty standard Central NY pizza. Good cheese to sauce portion. Has a buttery taste and a robust sauce. $17 for a large that was cut into infant baby slices was odd. Who wants a 16 inch pizza cut into 12 slices? Pizzas on the racks looked thinner and better than what I got in the box. Crust had way too much semolina flour on it, crust was like eating chalk and was a bit too charred for my wife’s liking. Also, 40 min pickup time seemed a little excessive.

Lunch special so not an ideal review. But this is a very solid football pizza. Heavy and doughy but great flavor. Great crust and sauce. Worried a whole pie would be even doughier

Pretty Good! The hype for a Cortland Football game bumps it up too. This is my place for a pre game lunch

Can be a bit on the doughy side but has good taste. I’m not a dripping sauce person so I like it as it’s not all sauce. Not greasy so nice quality cheese.

Sauce is ok. The cheese and sausage were even good. Sometime The dough is a little chewy. Like tearing meat off the bone chewy.
