Tremendous sauce, and good dough. Thin and light. but undercooked - which kept this from breaking into the 8s...

This is pizza. Crispy. Literally no flop. Great flavor. Can’t go wrong. At all. Best pizza in the area. Highly recommend!! Their wings are great too.

Zero flop on heated slice. Great sauce. Crust and good cheese. I took 2 bites before this score. I saw Dave score an 8.2 and wondered if I was missing anything. I removed the pepperoni off 1 bite and took a 3rd bite. W/O pepperoni and I’d give it an 8.2 maybe 8.3.

Little flop, dough and crust were perfect, my opinion is that the sauce was lacking just a hair more spices. Other then that, I scored accordingly. Pepperoni is awesome, has a little bit to it which I personally love.

Not a ton on of flop on this one. Nice and thin so it has some good crunch on the bottom. The crust has some awesome chewy/crunchy thing going on. Good tang on the sauce. Cheese is decent but it’s been proportioned well. It’s like $12 for a 16 inch which, given the quality, seems like a tremendous bargain.

OK so we have a very solid, very good, thin crust, crispy and crunchy with every bite NY style slice. You can't go wrong here. I can't say anything bad about it. Im ready for a couple more slices. We drove about a half an hour to try Pope's Pizza and I am not disappointed. The ambiance is definitely an old school Italian feel. You can tell they have been making this pizza like this for a long time. Worth a visit if you are in the Saratoga area.

Great slice. Crispy crust from the first bute til the last. Ratio of sauce to cheese was just right for me. Sauce wasnt overly seasoned. Dave gave it an 8.2 but it was early in his pizza game so i was nervous it was skewed. Turned out to be a great spot for slices. The supreme i had was great, peppers were cut a little thick, but the sausage was killer. Cash Only by the way, thats how you know they’re throwing heat.

Pretty solid pizza

I haven’t had Pope’s in ages. It’s just as good as I remember. No flop, crisp and not greasy. Sauce is sweet and tangy. One of the best pizza sauces I’ve had. Quality cheese. Crust is great, nice and crispy. A++

Little too much flour on the bottom, but overall it’s good pizza. 6.9 that’s a review.

very good crisp on a classic NY thin crust slice. great tang on the sauce & of course you know if you walk into a cash only place you’re gonna get a great pie....definitely worth the travel
