Best pizza I’ve had on my Albany trip, which to be fair (and disappointingly) hasn’t been that high a bar. Love the sauce to cheese ratio, perfect amount of crisp (I asked for it well done). Put it on the board 👌

Decent pizza, nice crust, a little greasy, better than a football pizza

No flop, fresh cheese with tangy sweet sauce. Very crispy slice. Overall, great slice.

Went with the two slices for lunch. I’m a homer for this pizza I was practically raised in this shit. The entire Amato family owned pizza joints in Toga back in the day and Popes is last man standing. Not happy about the cash only policy but it’s about the pizza not the convenience. Anywho, thin slice had zero flop and per usual great under carriage. Just enough sauce. Just an outstanding pizza experience. Check out Mia’s in Queensbury same family just from the Oma’s side of the business. Thanks for sticking to the family recipe Popes!!

My boy Dave might have been a little high on his review of popes, as while I thoroughly enjoyed it, I did not think it deserves to be anywhere near the 8's. The pizza was cooked perfectly and the crust was to die for, the issue is that it just didn't have enough flavor compared two other similar options I've had in the past. Could have been because it was my fifth pizza place in the day and my stomach was ready to throw in the towel oh, who knows! LOL

Monster crunch, monster oregano flavor in the sauce, crust again super crunchy, and good stretchy cheese. A high quality football pizza. Oh cash only too so be beware.

This is pizza. Crispy. Literally no flop. Great flavor. Can’t go wrong. At all. Best pizza in the area. Highly recommend!! Their wings are great too.
