Crust. Sauce. Cheese. All on point. One of the best pizzas I’ve had in Toga yet.

No flavor

A little confused on why this is so high. Was not impressed. 6.9 haha

Little floppy, lack of sauce, crust isn’t bad kinda chewy “Boneless wing” (no input on score) are just soggy tenders, not worth it

Went with the two slices for lunch. I’m a homer for this pizza I was practically raised in this shit. The entire Amato family owned pizza joints in Toga back in the day and Popes is last man standing. Not happy about the cash only policy but it’s about the pizza not the convenience. Anywho, thin slice had zero flop and per usual great under carriage. Just enough sauce. Just an outstanding pizza experience. Check out Mia’s in Queensbury same family just from the Oma’s side of the business. Thanks for sticking to the family recipe Popes!!

My boy Dave might have been a little high on his review of popes, as while I thoroughly enjoyed it, I did not think it deserves to be anywhere near the 8's. The pizza was cooked perfectly and the crust was to die for, the issue is that it just didn't have enough flavor compared two other similar options I've had in the past. Could have been because it was my fifth pizza place in the day and my stomach was ready to throw in the towel oh, who knows! LOL

Monster crunch, monster oregano flavor in the sauce, crust again super crunchy, and good stretchy cheese. A high quality football pizza. Oh cash only too so be beware.

Exactly how a New York slice should be made with a nice buttery crust.

Tremendous sauce, and good dough. Thin and light. but undercooked - which kept this from breaking into the 8s...

This is pizza. Crispy. Literally no flop. Great flavor. Can’t go wrong. At all. Best pizza in the area. Highly recommend!! Their wings are great too.

Zero flop on heated slice. Great sauce. Crust and good cheese. I took 2 bites before this score. I saw Dave score an 8.2 and wondered if I was missing anything. I removed the pepperoni off 1 bite and took a 3rd bite. W/O pepperoni and I’d give it an 8.2 maybe 8.3.

Little flop, dough and crust were perfect, my opinion is that the sauce was lacking just a hair more spices. Other then that, I scored accordingly. Pepperoni is awesome, has a little bit to it which I personally love.

Not a ton on of flop on this one. Nice and thin so it has some good crunch on the bottom. The crust has some awesome chewy/crunchy thing going on. Good tang on the sauce. Cheese is decent but it’s been proportioned well. It’s like $12 for a 16 inch which, given the quality, seems like a tremendous bargain.

OK so we have a very solid, very good, thin crust, crispy and crunchy with every bite NY style slice. You can't go wrong here. I can't say anything bad about it. Im ready for a couple more slices. We drove about a half an hour to try Pope's Pizza and I am not disappointed. The ambiance is definitely an old school Italian feel. You can tell they have been making this pizza like this for a long time. Worth a visit if you are in the Saratoga area.
