Poppys Pizza

Greasy and nothing that knocked my D$&k in the dirt. Left the other slice on the table because they couldn’t even get a simple order correct. I ordered one cheese and one pepperoni and was given two pepperoni. Keep in mind. There were only 3 patrons in there.

Love the atmosphere in the restaurant and the pizza is fantastic. Definitely some of the best pizza I’ve had in San Antonio! Will be coming back!

Got a in between med appts. Anyways...... med-thin crust. Crust had good crisp and char. The sauce is more on the tomatoey side in flavor not sweet. Plenty of grease. A diluted New York style I would say. Overall a good pie, I would say though it’s probably a great hangover cure. Solid 6.5. That’s a review Frankie. Ps, a lot of people here in San Antonio have never had true NY pizza. I’m from Manhattan and Oyster Bay don’t be fooled by the higher scores we have in town.

Plenty of toppings, crust lacks any sort of crisp, could use more sauce

I really liked this pizza. It’s a San Antonio 9.1. Crispy crust and good cheese to sauce ratio. They say New York style but it reminds me more of my hometown Philly pizza which is a little different but also good.

This is one big, heavy, cheesy and greasy slice of pizza. Lots of flop and a really rich sauce. This is a by-the-slice kind of place. Easily one of the best N.Y. slices I’ve had here in San Antonio.

Good pizza! Crust needs some seasoning but has a good taste!

The flop was floppy, overall solid

This is one of the rare situations to not judge a book by its cover. While the picture and appeal of the slice doesn’t do it justice. Looks terrible but actually tasted pretty good. Solid tang. Fresh cheese and the crust could use a little work or puff. But good slice.

Lunch Buffet is a cant miss Pizza show pepperoni, bacon,and Jalapeño. Really Good Slices. Friendly Folks.
