Poppy's Pizza

I've seen the name of this place pop up every so often on Facebook as being quite good. 1. They've been open for many many years and seem to have a good following. When I arrived the plaza was loaded with high school age kids, hanging around after school. 2. There was a very large amount of Grease dripping, it went through my plate and almost the box it came in. To me I am perfectly okay with grease, some of the best cheeses are greasy from quality milk fat. 2. Overall I did enjoy the slice very much, but my big gripe was there was too much of an overpowering of, I believe, oregano or some kind of spice.

I have been going to poppy’s since 1999 and the image I post is a result of the consistency of taste over the last few decades. Best pizza in town

Only went that high on the school because the staff at this location are great. Sauce sucks cheese was terrible just a weird tasting pizza would never go back better options less than a stones throw from their front door.

This particular slice is probably not indicative of how a whole pie would taste. This reheated oversized slice has some crunch and good flavor. Great overall value. I’ll need to get a whole pie sometime and re-score.

Very small shop No place to eat inside but you can go an order a few slices Good melted cheese with some nice thick crust, but a bit on the greasy side

Best pie all around this location. Nothing comes close
