One of rockland’s best pizza joints. There’s always 5000 people working at once, and I’ve been going here for 35 years, at least. Great deep dish slice, iconic stuffed slices (get the gardeners) and their plain cheese (not pictured) is a very solid football slice.

Established in 1984, Posa Posa has been serving pies in Rockland County for almost 40 years. The name is derived from the founder’s hometown of Positano, Italy and their top chef & partner brings experience from cooking on the Amalfi Coast in Italy as well. A regular large pizza here is a thick and doughy football style 18” pie. The undercarriage is firmish, no floppage with decent char while the rest of the dough is mostly soft. The crust has good crunch, certainly crispier than I expected, with respectable taste and texture all around from the dough & crust, just very thick. There’s virtually no grease on this pie, no drip, which leads me to believe they use a higher quality mozzarella. The cheese is melty, creamy, oozy, terrifically tasty…a delectable blend. The sauce is also sensational, bursting with flavor, solid spice, delicious and plenty of it to go around. With a fair amount of sauce in each bite, it definitely shines and carries the pizza. The sauce-to-cheese ratio is outstanding and balanced well with the dough. This is about as good as football pizza gets, just a little too thick. An uber filling pie, each slice is like eating a loaf of bread, just a bit too heavy to score higher. All in all, they use great ingredients; it’s a fantastically flavorful pizza that just misses the cut as travel-worthy. A thinner and crispier pie with this sauce & cheese would easily rate in the 8s. As it stands, this is strip mall football pizza that doesn’t dazzle but doesn’t disappoint either.

Very solid, little bit floppier than I prefer, cheese is good flavor, the sauce is very tangy and full of nice herbal flavors, good slice.

Vodka square was very good, the deep dish was decent. And the regular slice was just an average slice. Decent place

Good tasting pizza and not to floppy. A little on the greasy side but most of all nice ingredients!

Served very warm in 2-3 minutes. Pretty big flop with crunchy crust. The sauce is off the charts delicious and the mozzarella is very good quality. This is one of the best dough recipes I’ve tasted yet. It is light and fluffy but still very crunchy. The slice is cooked to perfection with a good char on the bottom. If the seasoning was a tad more aggressive and cooked longer, this slice could flirt with the high 7’s. Overall it’s a very solid slice.

Very quality slice..needs a little more crisp and flavor to be in the 8.0s

Very good slice, the sauce has a ton of flavor and the right amount of cheese. A bit too much flop for my liking, could have been cooked a bit longer.

Sicilian was pretty good. Grandma slice was not my style. Good crisp throughout both.

First slice was a bit floppy, a little oily but the second slice had no flop. Regardless of the fact, the first bite was really good. The crust was delicious, sauce was sweet. I enjoyed this pizza. I would definitely order another pie from them.

Very very very greasy slice and way to much cheese. With that said nice side and crust. Roman scores way higher and could be the best specialty slice you can find anywhere

Luke warm slice. Why do people charge almost 3 bucks and give a poor temperature slice. Lots of flop. If hot would have been a decent slice. Oh well.

Love this pizza, good sauce and cheese, nice crisp throughout. Little greasy though.
