Poulsbo Woodfired Pizza

Ate all the pizza so only had a picture of beer. Pizza was very good. A softer slice but very tasty.

I'm reviewing the pizza not the place. At close to $30 for two topping large pizza I just expect better. It tasted like hockey rink Pizza ingredients that were just given more love and a wood oven. The flop test was one of the worst I've seen. The undercarriage was non-reflective of what you come to expect from wood or brick ovens. Again it just kind of had that light airy feeling and flavor of a hockey rink Pizza cooked in wood.

Stark reminder that I’m back on the west coast

Floppy and greesey mess. Little too no flavor. Doughy. This is not the one I ate forgot to take a pic. Third try at this place still not great.

A very good pizza. Little bit of flop. Lightly charred crust. Sauce is flavorful. A little greasy, but still very good.

The only reason this pizza wasn’t in the 5’s is due to the crust. The stone fire crisp crust was exactly how it should be. However the cheese and sauce weren’t that great, sauce was to tangy and as you can see in the pic cheese wasn’t really there. Not worth driving for.

Fine ingredients; keeping the slice under the heat lamp for an indeterminate amount of time made it pretty mushy. Still well above average
