If you like traditional style football pizza, this is a fastball right down the pipe. Thickish dough, firm undercarriage, just crispy enough with a nice crunchy crust, very tasty, providing a terrific base for the other ingredients. The sauce has tremendous tang & kick, somewhat sweet and very flavorful. The cheese is nothing special but compliments the dough & sauce well with medium thickness and slightly above average taste. All of the ingredients are very solid, not lacking in any area, but also not particularly shining either. This is a fantastic neighborhood Friday night Pizza you can set your watch to, an everyday pizza’s pizza that won’t wow you but will definitely leave you satisfied. This is a no-frills, reliable, simple & tasty football pizza. Not quite travel-worthy but the quality ingredients make for a solid overall pie.
