Primanti Bros. Restaurant and Bar Washington

Primanti Bros isn’t known for their pizza but they do have it so I got one. They offer 3 toppings so this one is pepperoni, extra cheese and sausage. The crust is fairly chewy, the sauce is unremarkable and the toppings are okay. It’s better than a frozen pizza but not as cheap as a frozen pizza. Not bad but it’s ultimately forgettable exemplified by the fact that I’ve had pizza here before but can never remember if it’s any good or not. FULL DISCLOSURE: this pizza was purchased from the Primanti Bros in Erie, PA but that location isn’t on the app and I didn’t want this review to go to waste so I stuck it here. Is that fair? Probably not but I can’t imagine they are all that different at any location.

At the Clarksburg, WV location. Obviously not known for pizza, but soupy in the middle, sweet sauce, bland crust, major flop. Had to try but don’t recommend. Get the sandwich instead.

By far my favorite Primamtis location. What a great atmosphere here. The pizza is underrated too. Got two slices during happy hour and they were okay. I’ve definitely had better slices from here before. Not enough sauce and could’ve been cooked longer. Not really much to write about, but it’s nice to get some slices instead of a sandwich sometimes.

This is from the location in Moon, PA. This was a good pie but it definitely needed to be cooked longer. Could’ve been a high score.

Crust was still little doughy, cheese didn’t seem heated through all the way. Sauce didn’t seem to have much flavor. But it was a okay pizza

I’m from NYC but traveling through PA. I must say that this pizza is very decent. A little doughy but sauce is very good and cooked perfectly.

Doughy, floppy, but has a solid crispy crust with lots of cheese and some tang..you could do worse then this

Not a bad pizza for a sandwich place. Little too flimsy on the under carriage. Sauce was also not bad, but nothing special. Overall satisfied, but not blown away
