Disclaimer: I gave this pizza a full one point bump because I wasn’t that hungry when I ate it.
I ordered the Margherita as I expected it to be the appropriate choice here. When it came out the crust appeared too thick and full tomatoes were covering the pie. There was only one cheese (you’d expect 2 or 3 with an authentic Margherita). The sauce was watery and the toppings fell off immediately. I’d also prefer whole basil to shredded or cut, but this did not seem fresh and lacked flavor. The only positive to this pizza was the crust that had decent flavor and form with just enough crunch. If I were to eat again, I’d probably order thin crust as it appeared a bit more traditional. I think this pizza was cooked in a regular oven which probably didn’t help with adding flavor and texture. Not that bad, but definitely not that great.
