🍕 Cheese ⭐️ 8.1 💸 $3.50 💭 Definitely one of the best spots you’re going to find on Fairfax. A true NYC style place that takes pride in their ingredients. Tomatoes from California and they even get their mozzarella from Wisconsin! S/O to the Midwest! They offer a few options for slice only, and a great number of options for their whole pies and square pies. Great thin crust with a little char on the bottom that we can’t help but love on pizza. For a basic cheese slice, it is hard to beat this one. As @primepizzala says “ No fillers. No gimmicks. Just pizza.” We agree! Absolutely recommend 💯 .

Crust damn near perfect, cheese is just right, the sauce is where it loses the gold. As for the flop……I mean, you see the picture, it is just right. Overall great pie and I recommend grabbing this killer deal 2 slices and a coke for $8 🔥🔥🔥

Like others have said it needs more sauce, maybe I shoulda got a pie instead of slices but they definitely were under sauced. That being said it’s pretty good for LA standards but it would be only a bit above average back on the east coast. The crust was the highlight, no flop and great crunch. The guys inside were super nice though which is always a plus

Large cheese pizza, 4pm on a Friday, $26 and change Pros: Real crispy, there’s some basil on there and the coastline sauce is real nice. Good char taste in the undercarriage and crust Cons: Not enough sauce in the center of my pie. Was really dry up til the last few bites near the crust. Those bits were delicious Verdict: If this has extra sauce, it would be pretty close to an 8 for me. Because it was so dry, best I can go is mid 7s. This is very good LA pizza and slightly above average if compared to the East Coast

Don’t get me wrong, this was a good pie, but to score in the 8’s I gotta be willing to drive 45 minutes to 2 hours for this pie and it just isn’t quite there for me. A little salty, and somewhat greasy, good cheese to sauce ratio, the crust was fantastic, but I can’t see it in the 8’s. If I lived within 30 minutes I’d be here once a week, but from San Diego it’s a bit of a stretch to say the least.

After seeing Dave speak so highly of this place I was excited to try it. Went on a Saturday night and wait was only 20 minutes. Pizza looked fantastic but I was disappointed with how chewy the bread was. The taste was great, not too greasy, but I was getting a workout gnawing on that slice. Could’ve used an extra minute in the oven. I’d like to give this place a second chance.

We got the square Detroit style pizza half spicy pepperoni and half grandma style. We really enjoyed the square crust, it was crispy and flavorful. The toppings were top notch as well. It was a bit greasy. To compare to Daves score i think you need to try the original round style pizza. However this place was very good and I would totally go back for sure. Good merch too.
