Prime Pizza

After seeing Dave speak so highly of this place I was excited to try it. Went on a Saturday night and wait was only 20 minutes. Pizza looked fantastic but I was disappointed with how chewy the bread was. The taste was great, not too greasy, but I was getting a workout gnawing on that slice. Could’ve used an extra minute in the oven. I’d like to give this place a second chance.

Slice really didn’t do it for me. Decent crunch but was underwhelming in terms of taste. Couldn’t taste the sauce.

This is a really good pizza & pretty big as well.

We got the square Detroit style pizza half spicy pepperoni and half grandma style. We really enjoyed the square crust, it was crispy and flavorful. The toppings were top notch as well. It was a bit greasy. To compare to Daves score i think you need to try the original round style pizza. However this place was very good and I would totally go back for sure. Good merch too.

No flop and not too greasy

Zero flop, crisp and light under carriage. Tangy sauce, tight cheese and fresh basil. This pie kicks ass! Definitely worth the drive for and the Grandma pie is a must try!

My new favorite slice in LA! Great crunch, no flop, great undercarriage, and a good amount of grease. Missing that garlic taste in the crust, somewhat dry crust and needs more sauce on it. Overall very good slice highly reccomend!

Oh yea this is the better of the Prime Pizza locations. Great crust pliable yet chewy and a great undercarriage, char all over this thing is legit, not a lot of cheese but tasty, sauce is great and pretty mild. So far this is the best NY style I’ve found in LA 8.3 that’s a review.

Great pie which is extremely rare in CA. Best around LA.

Nothing special, greasy, some crisp. There’s much better out there.

Not enough cheese & really wasn't able to taste the cheese that it did have. Plus too much hype, since everyone around the area smells like weed, that's probably why it was hype up.

crispy bottom. great flavor. see why pres likes this place so much. 2nd best in LA lamonicas still reigns supreme
