Prime Pizza Kitchen

Prime Pizza former Il Podomoro from back in the day. A very underrated pie right here. It’s crispy, it’s lite, good sauce, good distribution of mozzarella. It taste a little like Nunzio’s on Hylan Blvd. And if ya order from them, they are coming quickly because they are Albanian. Albanians have the fastest delivery service. Amazon should be hiring Albanians as their package delivery drivers. This pizza is throw back pizza to the 2000s. But it’s a clean hot pie. Also you don’t need toppings with this pie. Just good old fashion pizza. If your boys are over and you order from Prime, they’ll be like “Amazon is now making great pizza? What can’t this Jeff Bezos do!”

I would like to start this review off by saying this is not a traditional New York slice. However, as a true pizza connoisseur my tongue is tirelessly trained to be able to understand the potential this pizza has. It isn’t a pizza thats supposed to be oily or shredded cheese. Instead, it’s not very oily and made with circles of cheese placed on the pie. Now with all that said, this slice kind’ve reminded me of the current day Los Angeles Clippers. It has the makings of a superteam that just dominates, however your given a good slice that had more to give. The crust was amazing and easily the best part of this pizza. The issue comes with the cheese and sauce. Both the cheese and sauce were very good contributors, but as a whole they didn’t mix well. They were too ball dominant for each other and it showed as each bite either taste like it was all sauce or all cheese. If properly proportioned this slice has the capabilities to find itself in the mid 7s. The slice needs to find a good offensive system that gets the rock moving around to get equal contributions from the cheese, sauce, and crust. With this said, I still enjoyed the slice as it is a break from traditional NY pizza, but delivers as a slice of pizza in general.

Ok so this was a surprise, I have drive. By Prime Pizza many times I finally had a moment to stop and give it a try. I was very impressed this might be one of the most underated pizzerias on S.I. Pizza was cooked well, good crisp, solid undercarriage sauce had good flavor. I def would be giving them a try more often if they delivered to my area. Besides the regular slice all the speciality slices looked great and the rolls looked amazing. I will be back. This slice almost made it to the 8’s.

Great sauce, cheese and crust from the most underrated pizza place on Staten Island.

Great Sauce not too sweet not too salty. Excellent.

Phenomenal Thin Crust Pizza not too much cheese not too much sauce. Crispy bottom. Easy high 9s.

Solid slice, great mix of sauce and cheese with quality ingredients. Owners and staff are super nice too. Most underrated pizza on Staten Island!

Great sauce, crust alright, cheese was good

I was hovering around the high 6’s, low 7’s. This place is pretty good. The crust was nice and thin, decent flop, the sauce has a sweet tangy taste. For Staten Island, this is a pretty decent delivery spot... wasn’t a fan of the rice ball parm.

Great regular slice . Nice crisp flat crust

The sauce was kind of, idk. Thin crust and crunchy. It kind of reminded me of a bar pie. No flop. 7.1 solid score. Enjoy

Nice crunch, nothing special, your typical NY slice. Ravioli slice caught my attention which I haven’t seen before, added 0.1 for the creativity and because it was actually decent. Saw BFC on the way here...cringy..

To much sauce for my liking with no Zing, the cheese was kind of bland, But the crust was Good, No Flop!

Football Pizza!

Tangy sauce and a decent amount of cheese. Has a nice crunchy crust. Their website shows a picture of a “date pizza” but they sell more of a “football pizza”.
