The first time trying Roman style, flavor was amazing incredibly fresh. Ridiculously light and crispy. Worth trying

You won’t find any round pies or Neapolitan pizzas here; QUA specializes in Roman style pies, which is essentially similar to Sicilian pizza. I wanted to give the place a fair shake so I ordered an “Americana” (on the left) and a “Margherita” (on the right). They both possess a few common denominators. This style pizza is a unique combo of light, airy & fluffy dough with a very pronounced crisp on the edges and even within the pie. The sauce is basically crushed San Marzano tomatoes, very underwhelming, lacking in spice and kick, but fairly sweet on both pies. The Americana uses a shredded mozzarella blend with shaved pecorino romana and relies on oregano for the added flavor. The Margherita uses delicious fresh mozzarella, whole basil leaves, and extra virgin olive oil, edging out the Americana (7.4) in both taste of cheese and overall flavor; it’s basically a square version of a Neapolitan pie and rates at a (7.6). Definitely a nice “change of pace” pie with incredibly unique dough that’s worth trying. Pretty good overall, but could be better, particularly when it comes to spicing up the sauce.

Really good but insanely floppy. Wish was crunchier. Seems rushed probably cause of COVID

Americano P’za Crust was crispy & airy, sauce was clean flavor. Cheese was perfect and Romano added a salty finish. Molto Bene!
