This is what pizza tastes like with absolutely no spices, or basil or any flavor enhancing items whatsoever. The truth is, if you added some of those things, you could have a pie scoring in the high 7s. The dough is very soft, not much crisp at all, even the crust lacks crispness. The sauce is just straight up tomato sauce. It’s not bad, it just needs some enhancements like garlic and spices. The cheese is generic pizza cheese, not terrible, just needs a little flavor boost. There’s a lot to work with here, maybe throw a little garlic powder or Parmesan on top and toss it back in the oven until it gets crispy and you could have a very solid pie.
