Rafael's Pizza

I’m visiting the area and saw the reviews, had to give it a try. Wanted to see what a One Bite Challenge “7” taste like. I felt a 7 was generous. Their oven must cook from above, like a broiler. I think the crust would be better if cooked more below, as is, any longer the top would burn. That first bite is pretty sloppy, definitely no “crisp”. The ingredients were good, veggies seemed fresh. The sauce was alright, didn’t catch my attention. It’s a decent pizza, I just think a couple things could make it a lot better.

Pretty standard slices. Nothing too special about the sauce. No crisp. Super New York flop. Cheese slid off the slice when I picked it up.

Very average pizza. The workers were very friendly and the experience was good, but the pizza was far from memorable. It is you basic “football pizza” or “late night pizza” and that is about it.

Good pizza, I feel it can be more crispy but definitely will come back!

Solid slice but lacked overall the punch with the crisp and tang in the sauce that was desired

Made to order with a generous amount of cheese but had enough sauce to balance it out. The sauce had a good tang to it. Undercarriage wasn’t perfectly crisp, a tad doughy and had some flop, but had enough crisp to make you want more. The crust was an absolute game changer, crisped to perfection.

Saw this place had a 7.6 so I tried it. Ordered the thin crust cheese. As you can it's very ok pizza. I think next time I'll order it well done. Seasoning is really good, but texture is ok. I think if this this cooked 5 more minutes he would had a raving review

Solid pizza. Wish they had slices all day but only for lunch.

Solid pizza. They support America so that’s bonus points. Crust is good not gooey. Good texture and ingredients on point. Recommend the Hawaiian or pepperoni
