The pic is of a leftover slice. We couldnt even finish the pie. One of the most greasy pies ive ever eaten. Pants covered in grease. Over-hyped. The crust was very good and the flavor is on point but the grease killed it.

Pizza review time. This time in Nutley New Jersey at Ralph’s pizzeria. This is an old-school joint. Been around since forever. I was definitely surprisingly impressed. A little different style to how the pizza is made. It starts out in a quasi-deep dish pan to cook for a little bit and then transfers out into the oven traditional style. It’s like a mix of a bar pie and a regular pie so I can see why Dave liked it. Also all the pies come out pretty well done which can be tricky because sometimes if you overdo it you burn the shit out of the cheese. But I was impressed. Great quality cheese. Sauce was pretty good. And the dough was unexpectedly very very good. Almost buttery in texture and thick but still very thin. Definitely a different type of dough that I’ve had in many places. This is definitely a whole pie devour session. I’m going 8.8 a little bit below Dave just because of the sauce and it being a tad bit overcooked. That’s the review

Ralphs was my first stop on my jersey/phily pizza trip, and my timing has never been better in my entire life, as I literally walked in the minute he pulled all of his slice pies out of the oven! (See pic). I have heard people actually say that his slice pies are better than if you get a whole fresh pie made for yourself, which is definitely going against the norm. I can't say if that's true or not, because I didn't get a whole pie, but I did try his regular slice, a margarita slice and then his thin slice. All three of them were nothing short of amazing and anyone who doesn't have this in the 8's, is out of their mind! The flavor and crisp was out of this world on all three varieties!

Very good pizza. Cooked just right. Good sauce and cheese. Could eat this everyday.

This is just good pizza. The crust is thin and had a nice crunch to it. It wasn’t really exploding with flavor but it was just a really good pie

Awesome. One of the best in the state. Crispy crust and tasty as hell.

A nice bite. A little Flop in the center. Otherwise got a nice crisp, nice sauce, nice flavor. Sexy.

Best Circle pie I’ve had. As I had more, I liked it more. Can’t beat it.

On the plus side, this has great crisp, great texture, great crust, and a very distinct taste. I really enjoyed it. It’s great “date pizza”..worth the ride if you’re within 30-45 min away. On the negative side, the pizza is a bit dry and was barely warm the times I got it. One more thing I noticed that I’d like to point out has nothing to do with the pizza itself, and does have to do with the service. The owner (I believe) always announces to his staff whenever they get a tip which shows appreciation. I dig that. Classy. So many of these places with all the clout feel no need to show appreciation or even be polite. Thumbs up for Ralph’s.

Really really good crisp and flavor. Cooked perfectly, definitely worth a long drive.
