Rance's Chicago Pizza

Not a big deep dish or tavern guy, but, THIS is damn good pizza. This is the tavern style… very good. Nice and thin, great sauce, great cheese. The deep dish is great too

Good sauce, good cheese, good crisp but I like crispier. Ordered well done, but it could have gone in even a little longer. I like it and would get it again.

Very good Chicago Deep Dish pizza. Sauce has some zing to it and the mozzarella cheese is great. At the time of this review, the average score is 7.6 and I agree with that.

Frequent this joint quite a bit. They nail the stuffed and tavern style all the time. Haven’t had a bad visit once. And the Maple bacon bourbon wings are killer!

Chicago pizza hits different and this is a great pie.

Chicago deep dish with excellent tomatoes. The “best seller” is flavorful, delicious and the crust flaky. It’s best Chicago deep dish in the South Bay.

I guess my 9 is my opinion of it versus any other pizza near me at all in Southern California. I couldn’t try it back to back with a pizza in Chicago but I’m going to say Rance’s is the closest I feel I come to being back in Chicago while in California. If you’re a deep dish lover like me then you owe it a try.

Super THIC. heavy on sauce and cheese.

Meh. But that might be a question of style taste. Give me new york, neopolitan, bar, good football pizza over Chicago any day. Crust is way closer to crust than bread. I wouldnt seek this out again.

Chicago style in Orange County. Tons of cheese....tons. Little greasy but had a good flaky pie crust. Had better in Chicago. No too deep here. Super filling pie. Many IPAs on tap. Not my style but decent if your looking for a Chicago style pizza in the area.

Come on down for the cheesy deep dish town. The mozzarella es thick. The seasoning on the tomatoes brought already tasty tomatoes to life. If you’re in the area, get here.

I’m not a big Chicago Style pizza fan, but I might be now!!! This was great!!!! One slice and I was satisfied! Lots of good beer choices too!! The staff was nice and helped me pick out a good option since I’m not big into Chicago style. They have other styles too I will try but I wanted to try their signature slice. Gotta check this place out!!!

Good pizza; no flop

Got a slice to go. Major letdown. Sloppy plate of cheese. Pepperonis unevenly cooked. I like salty cheese but this was over the top. Pizza is love. This could have been really good but the execution was subpar.

Not my kind of pizza but great service and amazing cheese!

Buttery flaky crust on this “carnivore” pizza. Smoked ham dominated the flavor, sausage and pepperoni were there, but seemed lost.
