Red Rose Pizzeria

Phenomenal. This is one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a while, and I was just in New York last week... Super crunchy outter crust, yet still soft inside. Cheese was on point. Sauce was delicious; sweet with just a little bit of an acidic bite to it. I asked for a well done bake and they delivered. This is a must do if you are in the area.

Get a small and there’ll be crust on every slice. Very good pizza!!

All around great pizza, no flop thick yet crispy crust, delicious sauce, my highest rating yet

Definitely good pizza

Nostalgia and history make it fun. Not my type of pizza. I’m from NJ and now live on the outskirts of New Haven.

Very solid pie. Minimal flop, good cheese and sauce. Great vibes in the restaurant. Next time im back, this is the spot. Not best I’ve ever had, but one of best in area if not best.

Great tasting pizza. It’s got that right amount of saltiness and a great tasting sauce to balance it out. The doneness is always just right and it’s got a great crust even though my personal preference is more thin and crispy. I’m not the biggest salad guy, but I gotta say the house salad is top tier!

The Margherita Pizza was amazing. My rating of 8.5 was for the Margherita. We did Buffalo Chicken and Hamburg and onion I would rate that at 8.0. if you are in Springfield Ma. Worth a try!!

Margherita… outstanding.

Crust was amazing, not greasy and tastes incredible. Highly recommend this place if you want pizza that is actually made in house and not rushed. I got the margaritas. Medium was a good size to feed 3 people.

Got a personal size since I was solo. Perfect size. Mushroom and Hamburger. Love that it's a bit well done. Makes it not seem so thick. Also got a 2 meatballs on the side, in sauce. Loved it all.

Very good pizza. Crust is the highlight. Solid cheese and sauce.

Solid tasting cheese and sauce was just quite messy to eat

Good pizza, I like triangles though 😂

Pretty good nothing outta this world pretty solid tho I’ve had a lot worse and a lot better

Tried three pizzas (pep, Hawaiian, and buffalo). Pep was around a 7, Hawaiian around a 6, and Buffalo around and 8

Great pizza. Good crunch and chew. Plenty of toppings

Good vibe spot in a place that really needs it. Pizza is unique with the thicker crust but relatively thin center. Good cook to it and decent toppings.

Thick and not so great. Needs a bit of less dough!

Red Rose, established in 1963, is a legendary spot for Springfield-style pizza. The atmosphere is electric, and the open kitchen allows you to watch the pizzas being made. The crust is light and crispy, while the sauce is well-balanced with the right amount of spices and second only to Indian Orchid pizza in that category. The cheese is of high quality, with minimal grease. Red Rose is a must-visit for pizza enthusiasts and rates an 8.0.

Had the little crispys like Friscos in New Haven.
